Position: Site Coordinator - Construction Skills

Location: 14200 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Dolton, IL

Reports to: Project Manager

Commitment: Part-time, Volunteer

Role Summary:

The Site Coordinator will oversee and coordinate construction activities for the Long Term Recovery Group, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong construction skills and leadership experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Oversee daily construction site operations and ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

•Coordinate and supervise volunteers and subcontractors.

•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

•Manage schedules, work plans, and project timelines.

•Maintain tools and equipment.

•Communicate project progress to stakeholders and resolve any issues that arise.

•Ensure all materials are ordered and delivered to the site on time.

 

Qualifications:

•Proven experience in construction management or a related field.

•Strong leadership and organizational skills.

•Knowledge of construction processes, tools, and equipment.

•Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

•Excellent problem-solving skills.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
