Join us for Comcast Cares Day― Saturday, April 25
On April 25, Comcast will rally tens of thousands of volunteers to make an impact at schools, playgrounds, parks and community centers in hundreds of communities nationwide and abroad.
In 2014, one of our most memorable and impactful projects was a clean-up effort in Washington, Illinois, a community that had recently been devastated by a tornado. Comcast partnered with Bethany Community Church where they put our employees, friends and family members to work tearing out subfloors of homes that were destroyed.
Last year, Comcast employees volunteered at more than 80 projects in Illinois providing over 39,000 volunteer hours of service.
Join Comcast during this Year of the Volunteer for their 14th annual Comcast Cares Day and make a difference in a community near you. All participants will receive a free T-shirt and complimentary lunch. Register today.
Comcast also has a great video about the work their volunteers did last year after the Washington tornado. Watch it here.
