National Volunteer Month 2023

On Friday, April 14, 2023, the Village of Richton Park hosted its Commissioner, Committee, and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. Downstate Volunteer Programs Coordinator Jacob Jenkins was the guest speaker. Jacob spoke on the importance of getting involved in local communities. As part of the celebration, Gloria Cox received the Office of the Governor Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service Certificate of Appreciation for being the 2023 Richton Park Citizen of the Year.
